Link Hilti’s physical products to digital information and processes! As an IoT solution architect, you take ownership and responsibility for the integration of edge devices and backend processes. You actively develop a solution architecture to identify and interact with plenty of devices efficiently including trusted relationships, connectivity, and security.

What does the role involve?
Our IoT and asset management solutions facilitate the digital transformation on construction sites. We work with newest technologies to provide state-of-the-art solutions ranging from platform solutions to (mobile) applications for internal and external usage. The IoT solution architect role will translate detailed requirements into functional architectures to include device-to-data, security, and connectivity. You create and manage also interface documentation and specify non-functional requirements. This role is very hands-on and requires a combination of "big picture", solution-oriented mindset and solid implementation skills. You actively partner with our product/solution owners to find and develop the right solution for our business needs as part of IoT implementation projects and you will be responsible for the technical engagement towards new capabilities in order to enable new use cases. You are instrumental to shape Hilti’s future value proposition in IoT.

What you need is:
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in a full-time technology role in software development, system integration, cloud computing or enterprise architecture
- Experience in successfully implementing IoT solutions as well as hands-on technical skills of IoT products and technologies including device connectivity and communication, embedded systems and device hardware design
- Strong experience with SAP Leonardo IoT applications, technologies, and services as well as in developing cloud system architecture and strategies with SAP Cloud Platform, AWS services or other mainstream public cloud services
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and team skills
- Fluent in English (verbally and written)
