What's the role?

As the leading customer relationship company in our industry, we are seeking a highly motivated and extraordinary personality to drive innovation and digitalization in the area of sales and marketing. As the IT Solution Owner for Territory Sales you are responsible for all aspects of providing an outstanding user experience throughout the life-cycle of your solution for our account managers and field engineers. To accomplish this, you lead a team consisting of business analysts, developers, testers, a scrum master, and UX designers.

What does the role involve?

Together with your business counterpart, you are the person in charge to implement our sales strategy and deliver top notch solutions that fit the demands of our account managers and field engineers. For this, you ensure that high-level business requirements are translated into concise and reasonable user stories, fulfilling both business and IT needs. You define releases and make sure that all user stories in the backlog are prioritized accordingly. Once your user stories are implemented, you drive and direct user acceptance testing and documentation. An important part of your responsibilities is to align with project managers for cross-solution coordination, status, deliverables, project plan, and other factors that influence the overall project delivery. In a nutshell, you manage the complete lifecycle of your solution ensuring an outstanding user experience at any time. As team lead you contribute to the overall organizational development with excellent people management, including definition and evaluation of yearly performance targets as well as long-term people development.

What you need is:

  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or in a related field, PhD is a plus
  • Broad and detailed application, process, and technical knowledge across several areas, built on past experiences and special trainings/education
  • Strong business and IT literacy, good understanding of value creation and its key drivers
  • Proven leadership skills that enable you to develop team members on a global level across multiple concurrent projects and/or teams
  • Strong result orientation, resilience in delivering, and ability to work under the conditions of ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Good command of English is a must
